Books Nearly Here! Changing Non-US Fulfillment Partners! And... a Quick Check In!
– Mon, Jun 22, 2026 at 11:08:49 AM
Hey there folks!
We hope you're well! We have a handful of things to address in this update, so buckle up!
Firstly, as a quick note, here's a link to our last update regarding our current fulfillment timeline for this campaign. You can check that out HERE!
That being said, we've officially received word that our international fulfillment partner has received their Edge Editions! (Non-US backers, see more below) For US Backers, we're scheduled to have the freighted books arrive in the NY port early next week! We're currently on schedule for that, so we're excited to get those in!
A quick note - even though we're close to receiving these books, we'll be waiting to fulfill them until our Non-US fulfillment partner is ready to begin. This may take several weeks as they have other projects in line.
We'll also be sending out another address update when we're finally set to fulfill, but since we haven't checked in in a while, we might as well! Feel free to check your address using the link below. If you need to change your address, that link will get you there, as well. If you have any issues, feel free to send us a ticket to [email protected]!
If you're a Non-US backer and would like to check your address before we send out your address lock update, please use the link above to check and/or change your shipping information!
For Non-US Backers!
This Update applies to NON-US BACKERS ONLY. If you are a Backer in the US, feel free to read, but please keep in mind that this Update does not apply to you.
Hey everyone. Bryce here, coming to you with (finally) some good news.
To catch you up on the situation if you're only just learning about this for the first time: In the last week of April, 2026, we told our now ex-fulfillment partner (for non-US customers) that we were parting ways with them due to 1) a plethora of improperly packaged–and therefore often damaged–books being shipped out of their facility, and 2) a very problematic lack of communication on their part when contacted by us about various concerns and questions. That notification came with us telling them that we would need all our product (including 'Stormweaver' and merchandise related to this project) shipped to our new partner.
In a continuing example of that communication issue, said ex-partners failed to adequately respond to our requests and inquiries for over a month, resulting in the significant delay you, our non-US Backers, have suffered.
SO WHAT'S NEW?
On to the good news I promised above: We now have confirmation in the form of a Packing List that the books are palletized and ready to be picked up by our new partner. This means that, barring further delays by said ex-partner, the books should have now been picked up and will be arriving at our new partner by this week. It will then take some time to get organized, but shipping for 'SW' should begin shortly after that. Since this has been an ongoing issue, Non-US fulfillment has some catching up to do, and there are a couple campaigns that need to fulfill prior to this one.
CHECKCHECKCHECK
Now... Would you like to know how we finally made this happen after 5+ weeks of lacking communication?
By speaking to our lawyers, who instructed us to send the ex-partner the following email:
And would you believe y'all... In a shocking twist no one could see coming, within a couple of hours we got this email from an Officer of the company:
And... voila. A little over one business week later, and things magically are palletized and listed. All it took was involving lawyers. Which is... WILD, in my opinion.
So yeah. I won't be sharing further exchanges unless necessary, but as of yesterday, ex-partner has provided a Packing List of all our product, including 'Stormweaver', and our new partner is working on scheduling the pickup/drop-off.
I'm sorry this Update wasn't "They're shipping!", but I am very glad to be able to say "We're nearly there!" Despite this being something mostly out of our hands, I can't apologize enough for the delay.
As usual, I'll be around to field what questions I can for a couple of days, so toss them in the comments below!
Oh and just for good measure, here is the original email we sent back in APRIL starting this request:
AND NOW... A QUICK VIDEO ABOUT WHY WE ARE LEAVING OUR FORMER FULFILLMENT PARTNER.
I know we've talked about it before, but we continue to get comments and messages from people who wish we had "just let the former non-US partner fulfill the books before switching."
Hopefully this short video will offer some visual context on why we weren't willing to do that. Enjoy.
Printing Nearly Complete!
– Fri, May 15, 2026 at 11:30:26 AM
Hey all! Update on our timeline according to the printer!
We have been told that the Edge Editions should complete production by end of this month (May), at which point they will ship us several copies of each final book to ensure that they are correct and to our expected specifications.
Assuming that there are no issues for a third time, we then approve, and it's about 3-4 weeks before our non-US fulfillment partner gets the books in hand, and another 3-4 before we get our in hand here in the US.
SO... Assuming the printer holds to their schedule and there are no further delays, the current rough timeline looks like this:
June 1ish: Book finished printing.
June 15ish: Final books approved by us at Wraithmarked HQ
July 15ish: Non-US fulfillment commences
August 15ish: US fulfillment commences
Once again we're so sorry for the massive delay with these Edge Editions. We had to refuse that first batch, because they would have been below the quality we had advertised and you had paid for, but we still hate that we had to do it.
Just in case you missed our initial update regarding why we rejected the Edge Editions, feel free to check out that update HERE!
Barring further issues, though... The final light at the end of the tunnel is in sight!
Let us know if you have any questions!

Tip-Ins Sent Back to the Printer! And... a Campaign Shout-Out!
– Mon, Apr 20, 2026 at 10:37:27 AM
Hey there folks!
We hope you're well and apologies for getting this one out late - we're at BookCon in NYC this weekend (more on that in the next update)! In case you didn't see our last update regarding the Edge Editions and why we decided to have them reprinted, you can check out that update HERE!
As promised, our printer sent us new tip-ins (signature pages) for Bryce to sign. We have since received them and they are (already) officially on their way BACK to the printer! Bryce was a trooper, signing thousands of pages in essentially a weekend and knocking this monumentous task out of the park. Let's all collectively wish Bryce's wrist a swift recovery! <3
That being said, we're one step closer to getting these Edge Editions to you guys. And once again, thank you so much for your continued patience and positivity. It does not go unnoticed, trust us!
And now back to business... we have a campaign to shout-out!
Thanks so much for tuning in! We'll see you in the next one!
We got the Edge Editions. We're rejecting them and making the printer redo them. Here's why.

Hey all. Bryce here with an update I really never want to have to f*cking make.
As some of you guys know, we had some major issues with our printer when they produced our A DARKER SHADE OF MAGIC EDITION. You can see that Update here if you're morbidly curious.
After that happened, the printer assured us that they would be classifying our projects for a higher tier of quality control. They told us again and again that they would make sure everything would go according to plan from here on out.
Everything did not go according to plan.
On receiving the Edge Editions, we realized that they were lacking headbands and tailbands.
Final Edge Editions WITHOUT headbands/tailbands.
For a standard edition book, this isn't the biggest issue in the world. Lots of standard books don't have them, STORMWEAVER's included. However, 1) these were $60 special editions, 2) the printer had JUST promised us that everything would go okay, and 3) the proof copies they'd sent us for approval did include the headbands and tailbands, meaning they failed to provide product identical to the proofs.
Initial Edge Editions proofs we approved WITH headbands/tailbands.
For this reason... We are making them reprint everything.
Let me first acknowledge that this will indeed mean more weeks of delay. I'm so sorry. In my perfect world these Edge Editions would have been shipped out with the standard hardcovers and paperbacks a year ago. For the printer to fail not once, but twice (first a screwup with the cases that created the first delay, and now this) is frankly... insane, and I genuinely cannot express how f*cking angry I am at this secondary failure in a row.
In fact, I made the printer write up a written apology to you guys, which you can find here:
Now, while there will be delays, the printer is reprinting these as we speak. I'm getting the tip-ins for signing in the next week, and will have them out the door again within a week. Then they need to be placed, bound, and shipped, and we'll hopefully have them in the warehouse once again.
I am so, so sorry about this bullsh*t. I am genuinely so, so very angry. It's one thing to screw up once. It's another to screw up twice. It's unbelievable to screw up this many times in a row.
I cannot apologize enough, even on the printer's behalf, and we are making sure they keep this as their top priority for corrections until we have the actual correct books in hand. But I wasn't going to send this incorrect copies out to y'all given how much you paid for them.
Thank you for your patience. Now I'm off to go scream into a pillow for a couple of hours.
-Bryce O'Connor
IMPORTANT FAQ:
Are you going to continue working with this printer after all these issues?
Can't answer this question publicly. But in case I didn't say it enough above... I am NOT happy.
I don't care about the missing headbands/tailbands. The books look good enough to me, and I want mine now. Can I get them?
If you are in the USA, yes (sorry non-US Backers, they printer reclaimed those copes to manually fix them since they were nearby). However, that means you won't be getting the corrected versions later. We can't pay for 8lbs worth of shipping twice, sadly.
If you'd like these books instead of the corrected versions later, you can email us at [email protected] with the Subject "STORMWEAVER EDGE EDITIONS".
What is the projected timeline for these delays?
We don't know yet, but we're hoping they're in our hands in the next 8-10 weeks, and we'd start shipping immediately. That would be record speed, but the printer has every incentive to move at record speed right now.
Addressing the new (potential) tariffs, and shouting out a cool RPG/progression fantasy campaign!

IN REGARDS TO THE POTENTIAL TARIFFS
Hey all, Bryce here. This is a quick one.
As with the last time we went through this situation in 2025, I wanted to let our buyers and Kickstarter Backers who are still awaiting their products know that Wraithmarked Creative will not be instituting any additional fees to cover potential tariff costs.
At this time, it's unclear if there will be new global tariffs, much less what they'll be if they come into being. Regardless, in the event that they happen, please rest assured there will be no surprise fees put in place to cover those costs if you have already purchased a book from Wraithmarked Creative or are awaiting a product from one of our campaigns. We'll manage the additional cost one way or the other.
Here's to hoping these tariffs don't come to fruition, period.
All the best, and thank you, everyone, for your patience while we've navigated the complexities of publishing in 2025/26.
